Think Adventure Media started the way most media companies start: with a small digital camera, questionable expectations, and no business plan whatsoever.
Back in 2000, our founder Shaun picked up a Sony Cyber-Shot and started documenting his adventures and outings — mostly because the alternative was doing nothing about it. That habit never really stopped. It just got more expensive gear and a slightly better excuse.
Somewhere along the way, "taking pictures anyway" turned into the Think Adventure YouTube channel, then into Think Adventure Guide, and eventually into the idea that this could be a proper media company — one that tells stories about things worth doing and places worth seeing, and helps other brands do the same.
We do this through writing, photography, and video. We test the trails before we write about them, and we generally don't recommend things we haven't tried ourselves.
What we're about
Content that comes from actually doing the thing, not researching it from a desk.
Plain, honest storytelling over manufactured enthusiasm.
Helping small businesses and brands who don't have the time, team, or patience for marketing get some of that sorted out.
If you want to know what we can actually do for you, that's on Services. If you'd rather just say hello, Contact is right there.
